Party terms and conditions

1. Enquiries

To enquire about the facilities available or to arrange an appointment to view the party room, please contact us via the booking form or via email to address NGFinfo@middlesbrough.gov.uk.

2. Booking procedure

Provisional bookings may be made in person, by telephone or email.

All bookings will need to be confirmed in writing through completion of the online booking form. A £25 non refundable deposit must be paid at the time of booking.

3. Room and charges

Wellburn Room – the room is provided for 2 hours for your party time slot only. Background music will be provided.

The final balance must be paid 1 week prior to the party, on confirmation of party guest numbers and menu choices. 

4. Catering

Please confirm the lunch box contents 1 week prior to the party date.

Refreshments for adults can be arranged in advance or adults can visit the café.

5. Cancellation and refunds

A hirer wishing to cancel a booking should do so by giving notice in writing as soon as possible. A cancellation fee may apply depending on notice and circumstances. Refunds will not be given for any children that do not attend.

6. Fire regulations and safety

Please familiarise yourselves with the nearest fire exits when entering the building for the first time. Our assembly point is located in the main car park.

The person responsible for the group should keep a register of names of those in attendance at their party. This can then be used in the event of there being a fire evacuation of the building.

7. Parking

There is ample free parking available in the car park on site.

8. Terms and conditions of hire

While you’re using the Wellburn Room, you are responsible for:

a) Leaving the room clean and tidy
b) Reporting any breakages, spillages, or damage to the Duty Manager
c) Paying for the costs of damage, repair, or replacement to contents or room
d) Informing the Duty Manager that you are leaving the premises, so that the room can be secured.

9. Liability

Middlesbrough Council accepts no responsibility or liability in respect of the loss or damage to property suffered at Newham Grange Farm or in connection with the use of these premises.
